Locum Integration is expanding its presence on the West Coast
During 2017, Locum Integration will be expanding its West Coast operations significantly. Locum's project managers have a wealth of experience working with some of the largest companies based in California and in conjunction with its strategic partners, Locum can provide full project management services, detailed systems design, integration and engineering.
By utilizing their years of experience and by keeping a close watch on future trends in software and hardware, Locum is able to provide its' clients with services that not only fit with their existing infrastructure, but also has the ability to integrate with future systems development.
Providing an alterntive and real change for the Western Seaboard
There are countless words and articles written on the methodology of project execution, but very little change has occurred in providing the most importnt items: the actual human beings who do the work.
Locum Integration offers an alternative to the traditional 'buy a project manager like cornflakes' approach, that in Locum's opinion has led to essentially comoditised “talent”. Coupled with VMS-like entities, this approach has effectively forced highly skilled and experienced PM’s to go to other markets and places. This downward spiral has resulted in essentially entry-level PM’s running multi-million dollar projects which are above their skill set, simply because of cost.
In Las Vegas, for example, the same 40 or 50 IT-PM resumes seem to float around, getting recycled over and over again; and time and time again, IT PM’s are brought in, background checks done (again), drug screenings done (again), gaming licenses moved (again) only to then often be shown the door, sometimes only weeks or a few months into the process. At best, it seems massively inefficient and expensive. There is a better way with “PMO On-Demand.” The current approach to staffing does not seem like a formula for acquiring the “Best and Brightest” who actually want to deliver a project on-time and on budget – and allows the client to engage different types of PMs that may be better suited to handle different phases of the project - (design, implementation, post-deployment, training, etc. – i.e. mapping skill sets to project phases).
